This eliminated the need for plastic bubble wrap and reduced transit breakages to near zero, saving the brand thousands in replacement costs and protecting their reputation for quality.

This client needed a single packaging solution that worked in two very different worlds: sitting on a premium retail shelf and surviving a journey through the national courier network. Standard retail boxes are often too thin for shipping, and shipping boxes are usually too ugly for retail. W.E.M engineered a “hybrid” structural design using a high-density, slimline corrugated board with a premium litho-print finish. This provided the “high-street” luxury look the brand required while having the reinforced burst-strength needed for direct-to-consumer delivery.
