This client needed a single packaging solution that worked in two very different worlds: sitting on a premium retail shelf and surviving a journey through the national courier network. Standard retail boxes are often too thin for shipping, and shipping boxes are usually too ugly for retail. W.E.M engineered a "hybrid" structural design using a high-density, slimline corrugated board with a premium litho-print finish. This provided the "high-street" luxury look the brand required while having the reinforced burst-strength needed for direct-to-consumer delivery.
